A tour that steps back in time exploring the beautiful medieval villages of the Czech republic.
The wonderful Baroque architecture of Prague and the imposing imperial palaces of Vienna are well known to most people. What is less well known is that the Czech Republic has a very well developed network of wonderful cycle routes on quiet back roads and dedicated paths linking these two central European cities.
Our Safari starts in the stunning city of Prague before we take a transfer into the heart of the Czech Republic to begin our cycling. The tour meanders its way across the provinces of Bohemia and Moravia towards Austria, through perfectly preserved medieval towns and villages, many of which are Unesco World Heritage sites. Highlights include Cesky Crumlov, dominated by a beautiful castle, and Telc with its wonderfully preserved medieval town square.
If you should head to Italy and France for the wine without doubt you should head to the Czech Republic for the beer!

Self Guided Tour Information

Yes, it was everything we hoped for, well me anyway. The cycling was great, varied and nice long distances. Our travel guide and driver were two such nice ladies, always helpful, friendly and went that extra mile. My husband struggled with the distance and the terrain but entirely my fault as I should have ordered an E-Bike. The accommodation and food were excellent, no complaints. Can't wait for our next trip which will be Ireland.
Marie L (Prague to Vienna Group Sept 2018)Overall the holiday was a really great experience. Everything was very well organised: the bikes, the rooms, the itinerary for the cycling. The guides were superb and were the one factor which made the trip really enjoyable.
Based on my experience I would definitely be interested in going on another cycling holiday in the future. Many thanks for everything
I had a great time on the cycling trip from Prague to Vienna. Vlasta, Vojta and Jindrich took such good care of me, and made me feel very welcome in each place I stayed. The accommodations were great, food was excellent, and I had no troubles with my bike.
Thank you again for all the arrangements and working out our requests.
We have completed our cycle trip. It was great & we enjoyed the Czech republic a ton! It's a beautiful country. The bike part of the trip was a bit tougher than we expected, but the bikes were good so that was ok, too.
Linda Heltzel (Prague to Vienna 2012)We had a fantastic trip to the Czech Republic. The guides were warm, friendly & knowledgeable.
It was because of the guides that I was able to make a connection to the Czech culture.
As my trip last year, all was wonderful on this trip. I have no complaints. I was very happy with cycling, the accommodations, the food. The guides were the best!

Robin E. Pope (Prague to Vienna group 2014)My Prague to Vienna bike tour was an outstanding trip at a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that I wish it had lasted longer. Made great friends and the value was terrific.
