A hiking tour on the largest of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca. You get a chance to experience a more tranquil, natural side of this beautiful island. Trekking over mountain routes and through the wild Serra de Tramuntana, with sun-drenched oak trees overhead and crystal clear waters along the way.
Enjoy marvellous views along the pilgrim pathways while absorbing the beauty of the Cuber Reservoir filled with fantastic wildlife and turquoise waters; be sure to keep an eye out for turtles popping up to the water's surface. Along the coast, you come across the artist's village - Deja and take the coast pathway up to Pt Soller through olive groves and orange valleys.

Itineraries
Day 1
Individual arrival at Pt Alcúdia
The start point for this walk is the popular resort town and holiday destination of Port Alcudia on the northeast coast of Mallorca.
Day 2
Coastal walk on the peninsula of Alcúdia
One of the most beautiful paths stretches between the bay of Pollenca and Alcúdia. You follow the coast and climb a stunning rocky peak. On winding paths with incredible panoramic views you cross soft hills back to Pt. Alcúdia

Day 3
Pt Alcúdia to Monastery Lluc
Short transfer to Pollenca, where you join the historic pilgrim path to Lluc. With the high summits of the Serra de Tramuntana in full view, you walk up onto the pass past Puig Tomir. Shady stone oak forests, orchards and rough meadows compose varied scenery. Connoisseurs walk through the botanical garden of the monastery.

Day 4
Pilgrim path Cuber Reservoir
In the morning transfer to Cuber Reservoir where you join a further stage of the pilgrim path to Lluc. You walk high up into the Serra and on passes down to Lluc. An interesting scenery with high grass, rocks and crossings that resemble high alpine territory lies ahead of you. The sunny vistas on the steep rocky coast and fertile valleys certainly belong to the marvellous sights Majorca has to offer. Return to monastery Lluc for another overnight stay.

Day 5
Monastery Lluc to Pt Sóller
Walk along Cuber Reservoir to pass de L’Ofre. Follow the serpentines up to Es Condor, with unsurpassed views, then on the world famous terraced walk down to Sóller. Continue on the path down through the idyllic gorge and the gardens of Sóller. Take the historic tramway to the coast to Pt. Sóller.

Day 6
Coastal path from Deia to Sóller
Transfer to the artist’s village Deja, a gem of the west coast. The bay of Deja is the starting point for a section along the rocky coastline and up to the idyllic postal way on to Sóller. Visit the historic oil mill; enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice and a walk through the olive groves. Overnight stay in Pt. Sóller. Details: approx. 5 hours | 15 km
Day 7
Pt Sóller to Playa de Palma
Take the nostalgic train through the valley of oranges (‘Picking oranges during train ride forbidden’) down to Palma. Enjoy this ride along the mountains of Tramuntana and through the fertile plains of Palma. The beach promenade takes you to the lively Playa de Palma. Take a stroll through the historic old town of Palma with little alleys and the majestic cathedral. Details: approx. 3.5 hours | 10 km
Extra Option: Explore Palma de Mallorca’s marvellous old town with a guided tour! After the train journey, you can take part in a guided tour through the little alleys in Palma. Registration and payment are both to be done at your welcome briefing for the tour. It costs €7 per person and takes approx. 3,5 hours.
