A great opportunity to visit Croatia, sail between different islands and explore each area by bike. Popular with sailors from all over the world, Croatia boasts over 1000 islands dotted in a spectacular turquoise sea lapping along a breath taking landscape of mostly untouched coastline. Our tour by bike and boat is the perfect way to experience the numerous inlets, bays and medieval towns set against a magnificent mountain backdrop.
On our luxury tours our boats are more like delux hotels!
Our tour starts and finishes in UNESCO world heritage town of Trogir. You can explore this sparsely populated part of Croatia including the stunning coasts on Korcula Island, Hva with its beautiful medieval town, the peaceful National Park on Mljet Island or the tiny Lastovo Island with its untouched scenery. During the daily scenic island crossings you can sit back, rest your legs and enjoy the scenery from the ship while our private chef spoils us with delicious, freshly made, local cuisine and includes a winery visit and also an olive oil tour as a bonus.
You have a number of different tours to chose from in this area, each with their own special attractions. This tour starts in Trogir and explores the islands. For a bit of extra luxury we have added the luxury first class sailings boats here.

Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Trogir ~ Hvar Island
Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 3 miles/5 km away from the harbour of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht between 2.00 and 2:30 pm the first cruise starts about 3 pm from Trogir to Hvar Island. We dock in Stari Grad is the second largest settlement on the Island of Hvar and well known for its important harbor.
Day 2
Hvar and Vis Islands (20 kms)
After breakfast we set off on a bike tour from Stari Grad to the capital city of Hvar. We will have plenty of time on arrival to visit the magnificent Renaissance Square and enjoy the view at the Spanish Fortress which is situated high above the city. After our cycle it's back on board again and cross over to Vis Island where we dock for the night.
Day 3
Vis Island (32 kms)
Vis is the furthermost island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa was on the island 2,300 years ago. Due to its strategic location it was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. Today we have the opportunity to explore this lovely island by bicycle. Alternatively, there is a possibility to participate in a three hour jeep tour around the Island (about 35 euro). After our cycling we cruise to the Island of Korčula. where we dock in Vela Luka.
Day 4
Korčula Island (60 kms)
The calmness and remoteness Korcula with its vast vegetation and cypress gardens have given the shape to the probably most beautiful Dalmatian island. Our cycle tour leads us via the village of Blato, like Rome build on seven hills, along a pass over Pupnat bay and finally to Korčula town, where we have time to take a walk through the wonderful old town with its narrow “fishbone like” alleys. We stay overnight in Korčula town
Day 5
Brac Island (45 kms)
Today we cruise to the island of Brač, which is famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was, among others, used for the White House in Washington or the Reichstag building in Berlin. After an extended swim break followed by lunch, we start our cycling trip in Pučišća. With an initial climb we will be rewarded with fantastic views over the neighboring islands before descending to the harbor of Postira. From here we take the coastal road back to the boat in Pučišća where we spend the night. The quaint harbour town is home to the most famous stone mason schools in Croatia and the works of the students can be seen on display throughout the town. The night is spent in Pučišća.
Day 6
City of Split (Rafing in Omiš) (17 kms)
During breakfast the boat brings us to the city of Split. The old town of Split, built adjoining the famous palace of the Roman Caesar Diocletian, is a UNESCO world heritage site. Today we have the choice either to take a bus transfer to go rafting through the Cetina Canyon (not included in the tour price) or to explore the wonderful Marjan forest Park in Split by bike. The rafting group will be picked up from the boat by a bus and are taken to Omiš for the excursion. From here they will follow the river downstream in the rafts gaining a unique perspective of the canyon and its flora and fauna. Participants of the rafting trip are brought back to the boat in the bus after the activity. Cyclist will enjoy a short but scenic bike tour through the green heart of Splits accompanied by an extensive swim break at a local beach. In the afternoon we can explore the bustling city of Split again together as one group. Overnight stay in Split.
Day 7
Solta Island - Trogir (20 kms)
On Šolta we cycle past numerous olive groves, locust bean and fig trees that line the roads, accompanied by the herbal scent of rosemary. After a round tour of the island, we enjoy the last crossing to Trogir past the cliffs of the Čiovo peninsula. What support do I get on the Southern Islands of Dalmatia Bike & Boat Tour?
On this tour, you will be staying on a boat for the full duration of the trip. There is a crew consisting of the captain, cabin crew, the cook and tour guides who will make sure everything on the tour goes smoothly. Every morning after breakfast, your guide will go through the route with the group.
The number of crew members can vary from boat to boat:
- Kapetan Jure: 6 crew members: captain, waiter, cook and cook assistant, 2 sailors
- San Snova: 6 crew members: captain, waiter, cook and cook assistant, 2 sailors
- Romantica: 6 crew members: captain, waiter, cook and cook assistant, 2 sailors
- Melody: 8 crew members: captain, 2 waiters, cook and cook assistant, 2 sailors, room service maid
On each tour there are 2 tour guides on the boat.
Normally the group cycles together but this doesn’t mean that the group will always be one after the other with no space in between. Often the group stretches long and everyone can cycle in his/her own pace.
If a guest really wants to cycle individually he/she has to be very punctual and has to have some skills in repairing a bike, since the tour guides will always be with the group.
Bike rental is not included in the basic tour cost:
It is possible to rent A road or gravel bike or an E-Bike.
The cycle tours require at least basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from steady cycling. The tours will take us up to a height of 200 to 650 m above sea-level. The day tours from 12 mi. to 37.5 mi. (20 to 60 km) will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time-constraints. Participants will also need to master long and steep climbs, during which they are, however, also permitted to push their bicycles. We traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely travelled on outside the holiday seasons. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned cycle tour.
Helmet use is mandatory on all bike tours in Croatia. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own (well fitted) helmet. Rental Helmets are available on board in limited number (reservation requested
On a scale from 1 - 10 (1 being the easiest and 10 being the hardest) we are giving this tour 7 points
