Popular with sailors from all over the world, Croatia boasts over 1000 islands dotted in a spectacular turquoise sea lapping along a breath taking landscape of mostly untouched coastline. Our tour by bike and boat is the perfect way to experience the numerous inlets, bays and medieval towns set against a magnificent mountain backdrop.

Accompanied by our charming, floating accommodation we set off on a cycling adventure that explores the Dalmatian region and its islands in the gorgeous Adriatic Sea.

Our tour starts and finishes in UNESCO world heritage town of Trogir. You can explore this sparsely populated part of Croatia including the stunning coasts on Korcula Island, Hva with its beautiful medieval town, the peaceful National Park on Mljet Island or the tiny Lastovo Island with its untouched scenery. During the daily scenic island crossings you can sit back, rest your legs and enjoy the scenery from the ship while our private chef spoils us with delicious, freshly made, local cuisine.

This tour explores the National Parks and starts and finishes from Trogir. We have another tour that starts from Trogir and one other that starts from Dubrovnik

Itineraries

Day 1

Trogir ~ Rogoznica

Individual arrival to Trogir or by plane to Split. After checking in on the motor yacht between 2.00 pm and 2.30 pm at Trogir our first cruise starts at 3.00 pm leading us to Rogoznica - a village on a small island which is connected to the mainland by a dam, where we spend our first night.

Day 2

Rogoznica ~ Skradin (20 kms)

In the morning we cycle from Rogoznica to Primošten. From there the boat takes us to the city of Šibenik, where the Krka River flows into the Adriatic Sea. After visiting the famous cathedral and the lovely old town we set off again. On the cruise, we pass the lower course of the river Krka following the river bend until we reach Skradin where we spend our night in the village port.

Day 3

National Park of Krka ~ Vodice (20 kms)

The magnificent port of Skradin is today’s starting point for our excursion by boat then by foot to the most famous part of the Krka National Park with its unique waterfalls. In the early afternoon, our boat takes us to the harbour of Vodice, a well-known holiday town on the Dalmatian mainland. From here we mount the bicycles again for a looped cycle of the area and visit some of the cultural remains of the region.

Day 4

Vodice ~ Island of Murter ~ Nature Park Telašcica (25 kms)

We cycle from Vodice to Murter Island, connected to the mainland by a lift bridge at Tisno. We pass the bridge and cycle along the waterfront, by two very old coastal villages, until we reach a small landing place from where the boat takes us on a cruise through the National Park Kornati, an archipelago in crystal clear water which is known for its rich aquatic realm. Our destination is the Nature Park Telašcica. In the evening a walk through the park leads us along the stunning cliffs of the island. A salt lake and a family of donkey also characterise the nature park and make for a wonderful location to spend a quiet night.

Day 5

Dugi Otok Island ~ Zadar (28 kms)

After breakfast we start our bike tour from the Telašcica Nature Park, along a virtually traffic-free panoramic road cycling across the whole island. We are treated to countless unforgettable views of the islands in the deep blue sea. Back on the ship we cross to Zadar, which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. Our tour guide takes us on an extensive walk through the lanes of the lively old centre. 3,000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to enjoy from the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, to the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica.

Day 6

Ugjan, Pašman ~ Primosten (33 kms)

While we enjoy breakfast, the boat crosses to the island of Ugljan at the channel of Zadar. Today we have plenty of time to explore both the islands of Ugljan and Pašman, connected by a bridge. We cycle along the Eastern Coastline, with beautiful views to the mainland and the ocean. After our bike tour, we sail back to the city of Primosten on the mainland. Here we can enjoy some time swimming and exploring the quaint seaside village. The night is spent in Primosten.

Day 7

Solta Islands - Trogir (15 kms)

In the morning our motor yacht takes us to the island of Solta where olive and fig trees surround the streets. The spicy smell of lavender and rosemary scents the air throughout the whole tour around the peaceful island until we reach the village Grohote. Our last cruise takes us back to Trogir, we we can visit the world cultural heritage old town. After dinner, it is time to say goodbye to the crew and travel guides.

Normally the group cycles together but this doesn’t mean that the group will always be one after the other with no space in between. Often the group stretches long and everyone can cycle in his/her own pace.

If a guest really wants to cycle individually he/she has to be very punctual and has to have some skills in repairing a bike, since the tour guides will always be with the group

The contract, including all matters arising from it, is subject to Irish law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the company sends a confirmation. It is at this point that a contract between the company and the client comes into existence. The company or their agents reserve the right to decline any booking at their discretion.
  • To secure a booking the Company or their agent requires a completed booking form and the necessary deposit. (Full payment if travel within 60 days). • The balance of all monies due, including any surcharges applicable at the time, must be paid to the company or their agents not later than 60 days before departure. In the case of non-payment of the balance by the due date the Company reserves the right to cancel your booking and cancellation charges will apply. If any cheque is dishonoured we reserve the right to charge €25 to cover administration costs.
  • Travel Insurance is mandatory for all clients whilst on a tour organised by the Company. Clients are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance. If a transfer is allowed an administration charge of €25 per person will be charged plus any extra charges levied by suppliers.
  • Should the client wish to cancel, cancellation charges will be imposed. These are calculated from the day written notification is received by the company or their agent as a percentage of the total tour price, including surcharges as follows:

If the client’s complaint is not dealt with satisfactorily at the time, they must write to us with full details of the complaint within 28 days of the end of the tour. Failure to notify complaints entirely within accordance of this clause will diminish or extinguish the client’s ability to claim compensation.

The company cannot accept any liability for any delay/cancellation in your transportation and cannot offer any refunds for lost holiday time.
  • Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of the Company’s employees, tour leaders and agents whilst on the tour with the company. If in the opinion of such persons the health, level of fitness or conduct of a client at any time before or after departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of a tour the client may be excluded from all or part of the tour without refund or recompense. In the case of ill health the company may make such arrangements as it sees fit and recover the costs thereof from the client. If a client commits an illegal act the client may be excluded from the tour and the Company shall cease to have responsibility to/for them. If you are affected by a condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect you or affect other people’s enjoyment or active participation of the tour, you must advise us at the time of booking. No refund will be given for any unused services.
  • The Company will use its best endeavours to operate all tours as advertised. If a major change is necessary or deemed advisable, the company will advise the client as soon as reasonably possible, if there is no time before departure. Such events include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, epidemics or health risks and all similar events outside our control.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel a tour in any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 4 weeks before departure except for “force majeure”, consolidation, or the client’s failure to pay the final balance. Unless the client fails to pay the final balance, the company, upon cancellation will return all monies paid to it, or offer the client an alternative holiday of comparable standard if available (if less expensive than original we will refund the difference, if more expensive, the client will have to pay the difference). Compensation will not be payable (1) where the company is forced to cancel as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care or (2) where an insufficient number of people book the clients chosen holiday and we notify we are cancelling for this reason not less than 28 days before departure. In all cases our liability is limited to offering the above choices and the compensation payments (where applicable) set out in clause 11.
