Itineraries
Day 1

Arrival in Constance
Take the chance to visit Mainau island or take a walk through the old town of Constance. The aquariums in the Sea Life Center and the Archaeological Museum are also worth a visit.
Day 2

Constance - Gailingen / Stein am Rhein / Wangen (30-40 km)
You start your tour along the southern Swiss shore of the Untersee and pass many villages typical to this region. Your destination is the small, picturesque town of Stein am Rhein with its many frescoed houses. Depending on where you are staying the night, you might cross the border again for Gailingen or Wangen
Day 3

Stein am Rhein - Überlingen (40-60km)
Today you circle the romantic peninsula of Höri. The famous painter Otto Dix and the well-known author Hermann Hesse used to call this place their home. In the old imperial town on Radolfzell you take a little break before you cross the Bodanrück. There is a short steep incline on your way to Überlingen, the only one all around Lake Constance!
Day 4

Your Plan
From Überlingen you cycle through vineyards to Friedrichshafen. On the way you will pass the Baroque pilgrimage church of Birnau. In Meersburg, you can take a break to wander around the old town and its castle. In Friedrichshafen we can recommend a visit to the Zeppelin museum. You continue on through extensive orchards to today's destination of Kressbronn or Lindau.
Day 5

Überlingen - Kressbronn / Lindau (50-60 km)
Today you will visit Bregenz, the capital of the Vorarlberg region of Austria and famous for its annual festival on the largest lake-stage in the world. You arrive at Höchst where you soon cross the border again and then, after pedaling onwards for a few kilometers, reach Rorschach or Arb
Day 6

Lindau - Arbon (50 km)
The last day of your tour takes you through Romanshorn which is home to Switzerland's largest harbour on Lake Constance. You continue your cycle on along the banks of Lake Constance back to Constance. The tour comes to a pleasant end with a wander through the old town of Constance or an ice cream down at the harbour.
